  • Day 1: Kathmandu to Chisapani

    • Start: Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal Bus Park (by private car).
    • Trail: Begin the hike through Shivapuri National Park. The first village you’ll encounter is Mulkharka, home to the Tamang community. The trail here is an uphill climb with stone steps, leading you to the higher point of Mulkharka village (around 2200m).
    • Lunch: Enjoy a traditional meal in Mulkharka.
    • Continue: Hike through a forest trail, crossing the highest point at 2430m, then descend towards Chisapani (altitude around 2200m). If the weather is clear, you’ll be treated to views of 10+ mountain peaks, including Annapurna, Manaslu, Dorje Lhakpa, Ganesh Himal, and others.
