Trip Introduction

Annapurna Base Camp Trek - 15 Days: "The Best Trek in Annapurna"

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek, situated at an altitude of 4,130 meters, is one of the most popular moderate trekking trails in the Annapurna region of Nepal. This trek combines the scenic beauty of the Ghorepani Poonhill trek, making it a best-selling package for over 25 years with Nepal Trekking Tourism & Adventure (NETTA).

As roads have gradually reached many starting and ending points of the Annapurna trekking trails, we provide comfortable jeep rides to Ulleri, Tikhedunga, or Hille on the first day from Pokhara. This allows us to avoid the dusty roads, particularly along the Nayapul route, which has been common for many years.

Pokhara, a stunning city nestled at the foot of the Annapurna, Fishtail, and Dhaulagiri mountains, serves as the gateway for the Annapurna Base Camp trek. The trek includes a tour of Pokhara after your adventure. The trail offers breathtaking views, including two renowned routes: Ghorepani Poonhill (3,210 m) and Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m), also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek. The panoramic views at sunrise from Poonhill are spectacular, and the vistas from Annapurna Base Camp are simply magnificent, showcasing peaks such as Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Tukuche, and more.

NETTA, a professional trekking operator based in Kathmandu with 25 years of experience, offers three different types of Annapurna Base Camp trek packages: Luxury, Budget, and Regular. Our Regular Annapurna Base Camp Trek package is a comprehensive 15-day itinerary that includes full board services, making it popular among trekkers seeking quality experiences. For budget-conscious trekkers, we provide a more economical package that covers permits, TIMS, transport, guide, and porter services. Additionally, our Luxury Annapurna Base Camp Trek features the finest hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara, along with the best lodges throughout the trek.

For those seeking a shorter, more luxurious option, we also offer an 11-day Helicopter Trek that flies you out from Annapurna Base Camp to Pokhara, encompassing both Ghorepani Poonhill and Annapurna Base Camp with premium accommodations and services.

The Annapurna Base Camp trek is of moderate difficulty, suitable for trekkers of all ages who have a keen interest in trekking and possess good physical fitness. Daily walking involves 5-8 hours, often with frequent ascents and descents. Lodges from Chhomrong to ABC typically offer shared bathrooms, while earlier stages of the trek feature lodges with attached bathrooms, Western toilets, and hot shower facilities.

Join us for an unforgettable adventure in the Annapurna region, and experience one of the best treks in the world!
