Below are basic requirements of clothings or gear for any trekking in Nepal, specially trekking in Everest, Annapurna and other high trails of Nepal and these clothings and gears are useful for peak climbing in Nepal too. Based on the length of your trekking or climbing you may need more clothings or gear.

Trekking clothings/Gears in Nepal

• Down Jacket- 1( Rated upto - 15/20 degree if you go trek to Everest base camp or trek above 3000m high)
• Trekking Stick( poles)- 1 pair(  not necessary if you don't use)
• Water Bottle- 2 pcs
• hiking shoes- 1 pair
• Sleeping bag- 1 ( rates up to- 15/20 degree if you do trek to base camp or trek above 3000m high)
• rain jacket- 1
• daily wears( normal shirts, pants, T-shirts- 2/3 pieces etc)
• Lightweight gloves- 1 pair
• Sun hat or scarf- 1
• woolen cap- 1
• Sunglasses with UV protection-1
• Lightweight gloves- 1 pair
• Hiking shorts- 2 or 3( depend on duration of trek)
• Underwears( minimum 4-5 pieces)
• Lightweight cotton warm long pants,Fleece or wool pants( 1- 2 depend on trek duration)
• Daypack- 1( small day pack)
• Toiletries
• Small wash towel- 1
• Basic First Aid Kit (for your own use)
• Headlamp (e.g. Petzl Zoom) with spare bulbs and batteries- 1
• Thick, warm wool hiking socks- (2 pair  or more depend on trek duration)
• Thin, lightweight inner socks- 2 or more
•  light slipper- 1 pair

All above climbing gears are available to rent or buy in Kathmandu before trekking starts or can be rented at a shop near the mountain, not necessary to carry all the way from Kathmandu.we can guide you to the reasonably priced trekking shop near trekking peaks.
